Cover band Walk of Shame kicks off July 4th weekend with a "hearty dose of the rock music" 
Friday 8-10 pm at Glover Park’s Gin & Tonic at 2408 Wisconsin Ave. NW. Why? "Because you deserve it and, frankly, your country deserves it," the band announced, offering "two star-spangled sets of rock, dramatic readings of the founding documents, and maybe a powdered wig or two." Also: "Shooting fireworks at the stage is not encouraged." So noted.
The band features journalist and guitarist/vocalist Jeff Dufour, drummer Jay Scott, Suzanne Zweizig on the bass, Ben Meier on guitar and Kina Wihl with lead vocals.
