The DC Public Library Foundation's DC Literati Society hosted Walker Lamond and his new book, "Rules For My Unborn Son," Monday evening at The Georgetown Hairstylists (aka "The Barber Shop") on 35th Street. Vandaveer's Mark Charles Heidinger strummed his guitar while guests were treated to book signing and beers in the shampoo sink. Hair cuts optional.
CAG president Jennifer Altemus summed it up: "Old school all the way. Walker held court, signed books, dispersed wisdom about raising thoughtful, adventurous, honest, hardworking, self reliant, well dressed, well read, well mannered young gentlemen (like himself)."

Really terrific event. Looking forward to reading Walker's advice and to the next Literati evening.
