So delighted when she saw the just finished body work and extensive retouch painting on her Champagne-colored Mercedes convertible, she exclaimed, “Wow Bobby, you’re the best!” Echoing her mother as she dropped off her BMW, Courtney agreed, “You rock, Bobby!”

Since March 15 of this year when a fire (luckily one without an explosion and no injuries) temporarily interrupted service at Wisconsin and Q Streets in Georgetown, Bobby Gonzalez has been operating out of his Alexandria location. “We hope to reopen late fall or early winter,” he said.

For his city customers who might wonder, “Bobby, where are you?” the answer is 10 minutes from Georgetown off Jefferson Davis Highway in Alexandria. There’s full-time shuttle service between downtown D.C., Georgetown, Capitol Hill and some parts of upper NW. By appointment, valet pick up and drop off service (yes really!) is offered where there’s off street parking. And every car gets a wash and vacuum before it’s returned.
