Last night's Best of Washington party at the National Building Museum attracted 1,500 Washingtonians, turning out in force to graze among restaurant creations and support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Scooter Libby, Neal Katyal, Fred Fielding, former Virginia Republican Senator John Warner and current Maryland Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor Mary Kane and her husband, former Maryland Republican Party chairman John Kane were there. From the other side of the aisle were Representative Bart Gordon and Debbie Dingell. From the middle: The Washington Post’s Amy Argetsinger along with and Atlantic Media’s events guru, Elizabeth Baker Keffer.

Hollywood on the Potomac: The Ken and Barbie Show at L2

L2 was saturated with Kens and Barbies on Friday night.  Here are some fun facts courtesy of Mattel: Barbie has had more than 80 careers -- everything from a rock star to a paleontologist to a presidential candidate.

Summit Barbie was introduced in the 1980s to commemorate the end of the cold war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Barbie has had more than a billion pair of shoes and over one hundred new additions to her wardrobe annually. When she pares it down, she can move to Georgetown...
